Honorary membership of the PRTCM is bestowed upon individuals who have made a significant contribution to the preservation and development of one of more of the fields of study and/or practice of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

The PRTCM offers Honorary membership, first of all, to those who have made such contributions in the Republic of Ireland and/or the UK, thus enabling Practitioners of Acupuncture and other modalities of TCM in these countries to develop their skills and knowledge.

Many Honorary Members have provided Seminars or short CPD programmes for members under the aegis of the Irish College of TCM in Dublin, Ireland.

Others have variously promoted the acceptance of Acupuncture, Chinese Herbal Medicine and Medical Qigong in the West via their support for the work of the ICTCM and PRTCM.
